Frank Rios and his wife won the Club trophy in Truth or Consequences , N.M. on Nov. 8, 2014.

Frank bought the Chevy in high school. After graduation he joined the USMC and served with the 3rd Marines in Viet Nam.

He began restoring the "55 in 1973. We love the simplicity of the build, it is all Chevy with a 350 Chevy engine. Fran and his wife live near Silver City, N.M.

The NNMSR 's Board Members, Dennis Wheeler, Jeanne Hatcher presented Checks to our 2014 Charities on November 13, 2014.

The Big Brothers and Big Sisters and  the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter were our 2014 Charities.

To our members, friends and fellow club members,

As we approach the 2015 Car Show season, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support in 2014.

We did have some issues and problems arise this year, but we hope to have a better handle on things this coming year, so we can avoid those pitfalls in 2015. Better planning and foresight into our needs for the annual car show will be our major focus so we can provide better hospitality to all our guest. We hope we can all come together in the coming year to share and enjoy our passion for cars.

We are working hard to meet the need of things to happen in 2015 for a more successful car show and swap meets. We have a restructured Board with some previous members as well as some new faces. Our hope is that these new members will bring new ideas and invigorate the club once again.

We have asked our members for input and suggestions for 2015 that will help move the Norther New Mexico Street Rodders forward. We wamt to increase our membership and be more involved with our community, as well as supporting other car clubs with their shows and community service projects.

We hope you will join us again in 2015,

Bob Fuller
